GRP Slip Lining & Thermo Plastic Pipe Installation
Raymond International can refurbish aging concrete pipelines by slip lining with GRP pipe liners.
The GRP slip lining system consists of one or more pieces of multi sectional glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) panels manufactured from a selection of thermosetting resins and reinforced with glass fibre chopped strand mat. A glass surfacing tissue liner layer provides additional corrosion protection and abrasion resistance.
The main structure of the liner and make-up of the liner wall incorporates a corrosion barrier on the inside surface followed by resin.
In procedures utilizing GRP liners, the annular space between the wall of the host pipe and the liners is filled with a cement grout. The high strength of the grout and the strength and durability of the GRP lining ensures a long life for the composite unit.
Raymond also supplies and installs a wide range of thermoplastic pipelines including those manufactured from Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE), Glass Reinforced Polymer (GRP), and Reinforced Thermo Resin Setting (RTR) materials.
These pipelines are used in plant applications for sea water intake and outfall lines, cooling and process piping, chemical and chlorination systems in diameters ranging from 100mm to 4000mm.
