Internship
Since the year 2011 Raymond International has run an internship program to over 30 young and aspiring Engineering students. The internship comprises of classroom lectures, workshop and site visits, as well as exploring some of the cultural aspects of the host country. The internships have taken place in countries such as The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and The United Arab Emirates. The students learn first-hand about a real issue impacting the Arabian Peninsula—the supply of potable water in arid regions. University undergraduates are selected for the program through a competitive application process. The value of the up- close and interactive internship provided for students is immeasurable. They gain a greater appreciation and understanding of the infrastructural scenarios detailed in textbooks and the role engineering plays in the solutions.
